2007-08 season in English football saw Manchester United winning the Premier League for the second consecutive year, finishing two points ahead of Chelsea. Arsenal finished third in the league and Liverpool finished fourth, securing the last Champions League spot. In the FA Cup, Portsmouth beat Cardiff City 1-0 in the final to claim their first major trophy since 1950.
In the Championship, West Bromwich Albion and Stoke City secured automatic promotion to the Premier League while Hull City won the playoffs to join them.
